The Evening Parade is held each Friday during the summer at the Marine Corps Barracks at 8th and I street. Highlights of the dignified 75 minute event include performances by the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, the United States Marine Band, and the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. Reservations are required – a written request is accepted for groups of 11 or more, and an on-line reservation is preferred for individuals and smaller groups. Telephone reservations are not accepted. Starting at 8:15, guests without reservations may be offered the remaining unclaimed seats. There's no guarantee you'll get in this way, but it's worth a try. |
